The Association of Australasian Diesel Specialists (AADS) Annual Conference was hosted in St Kilda, Melbourne 5 – 6 May 2017. The two-day event was attended by over 70 delegates from Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

Keith Jurgs Award

Merv Bryant

The Association of Australasian Diesel Specialists presented the Keith Jurgs award to Merv Bryant, of Lismore Diesel Service, at the 2017 annual conference in Melbourne. Merv was recognised for his significant dedication to and support of the AADS.

On behalf of the Association of Australasian Diesel Specialists we would like to thank Merv for his passion, his dedication and his leadership. We wish him all the best success for whatever life throws at him in the coming years. Merv will always be a welcome guest at any AADS event and it is hoped our paths will cross again many more times in the future.

Honorary Life Membership

Neil Quick & Lloyd Richardson

We also presented two Honorary Life Memberships to Neil Quick and Lloyd Richardson.

Honorary Life Memberships were given to Mr Quick and Mr Richardson in recognition of exemplary service given to the association and its members. It just so happened that neither knew they were presenting to each other- quite a surprise in the end.
